Ruby was the first foal we had from the Windjammer – Midnight Star cross, and it sure produces nice horses. Her grandsires are Whippoorwill Jetwood and Triple S Red Wind, so she is heavily Red Correll bloodlines. Study her pedigree, for example, and you’ll find 16 crosses to Winterset and 26 crosses to Bennington. She is a big girl, deep bodied, big hip, and super kind disposition. She stands about15-3 as she approaches 5 years old – she is a big girl, deep in the body and long hipped. She has an incredible extended trot, will make an awesome broodmare, and will add excellent bone and height, in addition to being built to go all day long and excel wherever you want to take her.
